Tsawwassen offers service to Swartz bay near Victoria as well as service to Duke Point, just outside Nanaimo. The sailing time is about one hour and 45 min. There can be waits at high volume times so be prepared. The ferry has a nice restaurant, plenty of seating and activities for your children. A very pleasant ride. Be sure and bring a camera since you may be lucky enough to see a pod of orcas, seals, water foul and just magnificent scenery. |
